Stearin may or may not be vegan. It is a mixture of Palmitic Acid and Stearic Acid, used in soap and candle making. Stearic Acid can have plant or animal sources. Palmitic Acid is usually derived from palm oil but can be obtained from killed animals. Please check with the manufacturer.
