Monoglycerol

Monoglycerol, also known as Monoglyceride, is formed from glycerol and fatty acids which both can be derived from animal fats, plants, or be synthesized. Monoglycerols are used in food products as an emulsifier. Common animal sources for production of Monoglycerols include cows and pigs.
