Chitosan Salicylate is probably not vegan. It is a compound of Chitosan, used in some cosmetics as an antioxidant, film forming agent and skin conditioner. Chitosan is usually made from killed crustaceans. Mushroom-based vegan chitosan is now available but not in wide use as of February 2019.
