Carbamide Peroxide contains Urea, which is on many lists of animal ingredients for vegans to watch out for BUT I only included it here to let you know that it is almost always produced synthetically today. Urea can be derived from animal urine but synthetic Urea is manufactured so widely that you can almost definitely rest assured that if you see “Urea” on an ingredient list, it was produced from synthetic ammonia and carbon dioxide. Carbamide Peroxide is used in teeth whitening products and other cosmetics.
